Three-Credit Course

Self-funded group health plan sponsors must give careful consideration to plan administration. This includes, but is not limited to, enrolling plan participants, collecting contributions, ensuring that funds are appropriately reserved and invested, processing claims, recordkeeping, communicating with plan participants and maintaining compliance with federal laws. This course provides a deep dive on the intricacies of these tasks, identifies the various types of service providers to whom the plan can outsource these duties, and describes how a plan sponsor can prudently select and monitor a vendor.
